Hi All

Ive got a 2003 52 plate Freelander, does anyone the correct way to bleed air from the coolant system. With the engine cold, I removed the expansion tank cap, removed the bleed screw from the heater hose & coolant came out, screwed it back & unscrewed the one in the pipe going to the rad, coolant came out & then screwed it back. started the engine, revved it & I still could hear water slushing thru the heater. Have I done it right?

Thanks

Hi D.R

I didnt renew the coolant,I just topped up the coolant & noticed this slushing noise from the heater. So I should only undo the bleed screw in the heater pipe to release the air?

Thanks
