Cheers mate... Yeah, this was last May - she was discharged in Oct, is doing well but remains unable to balance on her own and has some other long term issues. It's a sizable journey ahead for her I think, and she's getting frustrated now...matrix MG said:
I've chucked the job and am her fulltime and sole carer now - plus some voluntary work for the Stroke Association, lectures at the QEH Stroke Unit for the Practice Development staff, been on Radio Norfolk a while back and doing some other rehab research-related stuff. All unpaid but ultimately satisfying - only thing I can't do is get the missus up and about as soon as she'd like, can't force these things, sadly.
