HI,

I have an 04 TF115. The car does not have central locking. However the key fob has lock and unlock buttons which apparently control the alarm/immobiliser. I was told to use the unlock button to deactivate the alarm, and the lock button to set the alarm. However, when I use the unlock button and get into the car the immobiliser is active and won't let me start the car. The only way around this, as far as I can tell, is to set the alarm again and try starting it, which sets off the alarm, I can then deactivate the alarm and it starts.

What am I doing wrong, if anything? Or is it a case of needing a new battery in the fob?

Thanks

Might be related to the pektron alarm system (SCU) becoming corrupted, check the link below, around halfway down the page, if it is this issue they are also the ones to send the unit off to to get it sorted.
