Hi All
Complete neewbie to this site as i have just bought a spanking Rover 75
2002 model 1.8 Consr, only 41k on the clock and in pristine condition. What a find i am over the mooooon ! Will post some piccies when i can. Have spent a couple of days tittyvating..and it looks like new

Bit dissapointed on no CD player..but oh well..its just about got everything else.

The question is, i have a brand new Kenwood KDC C660 cd player i have bought a few years back now and never used, STILL IN ITS BOX!

How do i go about fitting this to my existing head unit, which is the Symphony unit, and will i be able to use all the features.. Or should i put it back in its box and stick it up on Ebay??

Would like to use it if possible..and save some pennies..
Thanx in advance, keep on polishing
Peter

If the right CD changer interface/connector is available it might work (see http://www.addacdchanger.co.uk/ for example) but these are often £40-£50, for that price you could probably get yourself a second hand original Alpine changer off Ebay, sell your Kenwood and save yourself some hassle. Worth checking if you have the CD changer cable installed behind the glovebox first mind.

Try www.connects2.com, or www.icd-ltd.com/. I found the latter to be much more helpful, though their unit was more expensive. It will depend on whether the 660 is 'new' or 'old' bus I think, but if it works like my C467 changer did - its a case of plug and play! (I fitted mine in their car park!)
