Hi,

Is it possible to getan induction kit for a diesel Rover 220 (bubble shape) I heard that you get even more of a performance increase when you get a kit for a diesel. I haven't managed to find one though.

I am looking for the cheapest and easiest way to find a bit more power

Any ideas.

cheapest and easiest power you will get is a decat. take the cat off and bash out the insides of it.

next thing to do is to increase fueling..... you got the SDi or SD?

A good filter would be a little beneficial, ive got a K+N panel filter on mine, and it does the job perfect. You will only get a little power increase if any, but all helps.
You wont get a deep grunt like a petrol, it will be a "whoosh" sound
You can get universal cone filters from K+N or Greenstuff etc... ,measure the air intake hose and see which one will fit.

IIRC its 85mm, but measure it anyway!

Watch the pre-oiled filters, make sure the oild does not contaminate the MAF.

i dont think my sensor works? :err: Well not as it should, its got narly half of the spade thingy missing!, been like that now for year n half.

Dont clean the sensor too hard! haha

Then again it could be the 25/45 where the MAF is more critical.

Give these people a try, my mate had a pipercross filter on his car, and it huuuuge! really looked the part!

Yeah, pretty much universal though to get arnt they. Mind you, alot of people have them panel filters made by ITG who seem pretty good.
