Juddering Rover 200

My dad has got a Rover 200 (R reg, 1.4i) and sometimes it runs perfect but other times it starts juddering a lot, especially when you go around a corner, and it seems to do it a lot more when its wet :( Does anyone know how this is caused and how it could the problem could be solved. Thanks

Sounds electrical, check the inside of your distributor cap and rotor arm for corrosion, if that's ok then try replacing your HT leads.

It's all fairly simple stuff to replace, just unscrewing a few bolts, screws and cables.
