Was going to lower and uprate the suspention on my 400 turbo diesel and wondered if it is the same as the petrol version? have seen one in a scrapyard and wondered if it would do?

the 200 deisel setup is indeed different to the petrol, to accomodate the heavier L-series. Also I believe the diesel 200 to have rear anti-roll bars, different to the petrol (not found on the petrol I think)!

As for the 400 I suspect a stiffer setup, but couldn't be sure

Not so sure, i'm afraid. I know there is an aftermarket spring for ZR TD, which should suit your motor, just can't remember the manufacturer. Maybe worth doing a search on the site

Just do a search by make and model and it'll come up with suspension, brakes, exhausts, etc.
GMAX do spring and shocks for the derv 25/200

Approx £200 from ebay.
