Hey guys, I've just done an overdue oil change on my mgf and noticed the speed of the AC pulley seems to be irregular. Yep, I drove one of the unicorns enabled with AC from the factory.

I've attached a vid (sorry low quality), but you can just about see the speed of the AC pulley changing just beneath the alternator. AC wasn't turned on at the time of this video

That's just the a/c's disengaged clutch moving at an irregular speed, nothing to worry about. If you were to turn on the a/c, that 'irregular' speed would disappear.

I don't think the belt is loose, it certainly doesn't feel it and there's no squeaking sound

Saying that, the belts are due for replacement (6 years old, annoyingly only about 8000 miles covered in those 6 years 😩)... Are there any recommended mobile mechanics in the south east offering this service now?
