Hi all.

I gather you cannot use your discount twice, so what does that do to your insurance and how do you guys go about it please?

Also is it cheaper to insure at the cars actual value like on many of the newer polices?

Thanks all.

Richard.

when i insured mine i was told that if its classic car insurance they dont use no claims bonus anyway. problem was mine mgf was 19 years old and the few classic car brokers i spoke to said it had to be 20 years old. i ended up insuring with my family cars (another 2 cars) and it only costs me with the wife about £180 for the mgf fully comp.

obviously depends on your age and whether have bad driving history.

check with the classic car insurance about not using/needing NCB as it was a couple of years ago... dr google below...

Thats the quote I've just had too, £183, cheaper if it was a classic. Thanks again.
