Hi guys,
Yey finally installed my LED (DRL) Lights, they are only very thin, 5mm high so decided to put them above my headlights, they come with 3M sticky tape on the base of them, they also shine out of the side of the strip, as opposed to shining from the front, so they remain discrete when unlit.
I attached them to the sidelights, which was i pain the ass for me lol I pulled out the sidelight bulb, pulled out the pins on the bulb, thread the wire for the LED,s though each pin, then closed it up to secure it. then placed the bulb back in the holder. Switch on the sidelights and both come on at the same time.

IMO i think it looks good, whether you guys do or not is your opinion :)

Let me know what you think....

Hmm, not to my taste i don't think, Looks a bit PriceDropTV Jewelry! That was a guy on here (forget his name) that put them underneath the lights on a facelift ZR, that actually look fairly good.
fair enough, didnt expect everyone to like lol
I like them, suits the car to be honest.
thanks mate, i think so too :)
i like them, you need some HIDs tho to make it the same colour! 6K would finnish you lights off!

they look good , although they would look better along the bottom of the lights , but that's just my opinion lol
i got some 6k hid's from ebay they look mint , slim ballast ones , il try get the link if you want, £54 i think they cost.

i know, i was guna do that, but then i thought in my opinion it would be predictable to put them there, and also it was easier to wire them up where i put them haha
yea ive got 6Ks and i think if i change to a car that doesnt take H7 bulbs then i will still get a set! there amazing!

one of the main reasons i gt anouther 25! (derv and loving it!)

Do i need H7R Bulbs?

H7R is for Reflector headlamps (You can see the bulb when looking into the headlamp)
H7 is for Projector headlamps (Bulb is hidden behind magnifying glass)

I love DRL's but I think they look better mounted lower down - failing that along the bottom of the headlight unit.
Looking lovely, with some HID bulbs in at night that would look beatiful.
looks really good in the dark, i made a thread ages ago about HIDs and basicly it becomes a big argument cos your not supposed to fit them in reflector ights but they still pass the MoT.

i just have normal H7 ones but you can try the H7r ones as this may help define where light beam stops vertically, making it less likely to annoy other road users

(tho ive never had anyone flash me for them or any trouble with the law)

so basicly its up to you, would probably be safer to go the the "r" model
