Hi all,

As the title says really.

Sadly lost my wife to cancer at the end of last month.

We were looking last year to buy a TF as a summer car and almost sealed a deal on a local vehicle, but it was not to be at that point in time.

Quite by chance a week or so back I came across this example.

Having been and driven it, I could not help but buy it. Love the colour, love the interior and I am sure my darling would approve. Have also found a personal reg on the DVLA website that relates to my wife and that will be going on as soon as the paperwork is complete.

So, off to Peterborough on Saturday morning to collect her.

Just hoping for some sunshine now.............!!!!!

Thanks all for your thoughts and replies. Got a long uphill struggle but with the support of friends, family, and the various forums that I get on, ( car that is of course!!!), i'm sure that both me and my little Yorkie Max are going to be ok.



Yes, it is a lovely looking car. Be honest, I just had to have it and the test drive did not disappoint!! Hoping that tomorrow morning is as good as it was today around here. Very little cloud and nice blue sky! Could do with being a little warmer though!!

Posted on the F / TF section yesterday, along the lines of this post here. Was made very welcome I must say. Yes, I will get on one of these runs in the summer months.

As said, thanks for your thoughts. If any of you see me in the TF, especially in the Derby / Notts area where I am, give me a wave. Rest assured, it will be returned!
