My 1995 MGF is in need off a set of recharged hydragas units , the ride is now rather rough , I have been in touch with Hydragas and Hyrolastic mobile service Ltd who did quote to come to my home in Angus Scotland and carry this out but it was too expensive .
Does anyone know of any garage or anyone in Scotland that could carry out a replacement , I can purchase the recharged units from the afore mentioned mobile service , any help.would be much appreciated , I am willing to travel .Thanks

But of course you do need access to the right kind of pump to refill the system. A kindly local garage lent me theirs. I don’t think they use it very often!
Around January when I was looking at my suspension I found a guy on ebay who could could ship your nitrogen sphere to for regassing at ~£100 per sphere.
You can build the fluid pump and buy said fluid as well for ~£100 again, plus once it's done you'll have a working pump and spare fluid for future top-ups.. if you wanted to do it yourself, that is.

No experience with getting the spheres out, but the fluid side is remarkably easy to top up, and not so 'ancient magic' as people think

Chap in link below charges £40 to regas your own and £5 postage...used to be just £25 but suppose as with everything else prices gone up. Worth contacting if your getting all 4 done, he gave me a discount on postage.
