We ordered a ZS in July and no sign of a build date yet, let alone delivery. Its true Brixton Blue is no longer available. I read a few days ago, that they had stopped all petrol deliveries towards the end of last year to stay within manufactures CO2 requirements. Epsom MG is suggesting a lot of petrol stock is arriving for March.

A little bit of my background on my dealings with MG
I ordered a new MG HS Excite Auto in blue early July 2021 and was told delivery would be October 2021 that became November then December now can not get any updates have been told chip shortage then MG are changing the blue and that would be a few weeks hold up until colour update as of 11th January still no delivery date after 7 months, I have found the names of 3 ships MG have used to deliver to UK in the past and have been looking on a ship tracker application but none are near or on way to UK
Can I ask if anyone else is having delivery problems or have heard any news on deliveries from there dealer or any information on ships or shipping routes, it would be nice to find out any information as I'm beginning to forget what a MG HS looks like

Hi you sound lucky that your dealer is still giving you updates, mine has given up now I think they are in the dark as well as us, I have seen on other sites that is a rumour going round on other forums that a large delivery is due in late February 24th or 25th but dont know how true this is, I have found out 3 names of ship's MG have used in the past year they are the SAIC Anji Phoenix, Pagna and the Cosco Shengshi I have been looking on a shipping tracker one is in China docks at moment the others are on high sea's no where near UK , hopefully the one in docks is loading for delivery soonWe ordered a ZS in July and no sign of a build date yet, let alone delivery. The dealers know nothing until a build date is allocated, then in theory the car is 6-8 weeks away from arriving.

New to the forum but though I'd give an update as per what the dealership has told me.
Ordered the HS Exclusive manual in black 21/09/21, was meant to be a delivery date of the 16/12/21 but nothing happened and couldn't give me an update as to when it would arrive.
Dealership was in contact last week to answer a few questions I had and advised its now showing a delivery date on their system which is 28/03/22.
This was from Frazers of Falkirk but I also heard from a work colleague who ordered a new MG from Arnold Clark that they have been in touch to confirm the same date
So fingers crossed that I will actually see my car as starting to get fed up waiting like the rest of us

Hi good to hear someone seemingly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with MGs delivery, I'm still no further forward was told last week MG are unable to make a blue HS and was told I had to have a black or white as these are the only colours being made as they cannot get any blue paint, I have not made my mind up as I was so pissed with MG after waiting for 8 months now, did leave the call saying you better come up with some freebies or good will gestures to sweeten any deal I may agree. Needless to say nothing is forthcoming MG everything seems to take an eternity with MG , don't reply to emails and always with customers when I call them, I am beginning to wish I had never heard of MG, they have a long way to go to catch up with European manufacturers customer care
I feel your pain, I don't see how they can't get blue paint though seems crazy to me!!! Maybe down to changine the colour of blue they use.
When I bought the car it was showing brand new "IN STOCK" not holding my breath for the March delivery date tbh.
Seriously considering pulling the plug if it gets put back again, a work colleague just bought a new BMW 1 Series in November and they have been in touch with him to confirm they are still on track for a March delivery date like they originally told him at time of purchase.
Suppose that's what happens why you buy an established European brand.
Will just need to wait and see now but hopefully they start to get the ball rolling on production for yourself👍

I called my dealer today (MG Marylebone) to check on delivery of my HS Exclusive Auto in Red, ordered mid October and originally scheduled for 15 Feb delivery. Apparently it's now fully built and waiting for one of two ships that'll be coming over with March deliveries for the UK. My tentative pickup date is end March - mid April, depending on which ship it gets loaded onto.

I have my fingers crossed and everything else crossed that this time it will happen

Dealership have told me they need to get them out by the end of the month (I assume for the start of the new financial year) hopefully should arrive next week at the dealers.
May be as well contacting your respective garages to see if your car has arrived on the latest shipment

My HS Excl Auto Red arrived at dealers Monday (ordered mid Oct 2021) and I'll be picking it up this coming Monday. There must be some kind of delivery time-warp in place as it was showing as still being in China less than two weeks ago...
It was around the 21st Sept 2021 so 6 months ago
Perry's in Preston are desperately waiting on over 20 cars to arrive imminently, including mine, to get them registered and out before the end of March to get the incentives etc.
Was also told that they have no petrol versions available as they have used up all their allocation for CO2 purposes so only electric vehicles available to order.

All the dealers seem pretty keen to register all the HS cars before April. Somthing seems to be going on, but what?!
