I need to remove my gearstick to send out to a member on here. Just wondering how to do it before I go and venture out in the cold

the actuall stick or the knob and gaiter?
if its knob and gaiter i found the easiest way is.
grab tightly the top of the gaiter the just twist the knob and it should just pop out of the gaiter, next take out 4 screws from center console ( 2 each side ) then just pull up, slide the radio out but dont disconnect to allow you to get under it, unscrew the gaiter holder the the gaiter will just pop out. just put the radio back in and 4 screws back in sides of console and your done.
