Not sure on the TF, but on the F the whole blanking plate/switch panel comes out (pull towards you) with all the switches and it's a case of pushing forward the switch. You've not got much play with the slack of the cables, so you could disconnect first.

Or... get a large(ish) flat screwdriver.. put some masking tape or electrical tape over it, so you're least likely to damage it, and put it under the switch, and give it a 90º turn to push it out.

 

If they wont lever out then remove the driver or passenger footwell light trim and you should be able to reach behind and push it out.

 

Dont forget the 2 self tapping screws first! Would hate to see you snap the panal! (Triangle shaped thingy where your footwell lights are!)
