Evening all..

I have managed to get some genuine MG headlamp beam deflectors for Bee (the clip on covers), which will allow me to use her on the continent. However they had one important part missing... The instructions.

I have 1 x LH cover, 1 x RH cover

4x small clips with grub screws

2x large clips with hooks..

How do they fit?

I assume The two large clips go on the top of the lights I think and you then have to be careful when closing the bonnet as it is a tight fit (dont slam). They sort of latch over the top of the light, it feels like it is insecure but with the bonnet closed they are locked in. I think the others fit in the holes in the covers to hold them away from the glass headlamp?

I cannot really remember as I have not fitted mine since last year.

If you still have problems I can get them out of the shed and take photos for you.

I think I read somewhere that there is a shutter mechanism inside the lights, so that you can convert them to continental mode without extra deflectors ?

either that, or

I may have been in la la land at the time....

We investigated this at Basingstoke, there isn't.

There's supposed to be, but there isn't :irked:
