What year is your Rover? Get you a better idea if I know that.

Saxo's really are biscuit tins. My GF is a Police Officer, and if she's called to "an injury RTA" the whole crew says "I bet it's a Saxo or 106"

Incidentally, my sister is a solicitor. Makes for "interesting" Sunday dinner conversation!

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking '95, last of the 'wedges', first of the 'Bubbles'. I live in Berkshire, prices in this area seem to be higher than in other areas. BTW - I ask because I have little money.

The cheeky so and so is accusing me of causing the accident! I went round a bend, on my side of the road, and his off-side wheel was where mine would be! Then BANG.:***:

What the heck happend man, that bend looks dangerous? Rover doesn't look too bad, but the Saxo is buggered.
The bend's a bit tight, but nothing serious, however if someone is using your side of the road as well as you, then  !!!
BTW - mines had it. I started the car and there's a lot of vibration on tick-over. The drive shaft has hit the bracket the track control arm sits and the wheel has tried to get in the foot well with me! The inner wing looks OK.

ÂŁ750?!?!?!?!?

My 92k M reg 214SLi is on sale on the forums for ÂŁ150!!!!!

Blimey! There's not that much difference between the SEi and the SLi either. How rude!
I've got an SLi as well (knackered)! The big snag is I'm in Berkshire and your in Dorset! But thanks anyway!

cnat you fix the sei??
Possibly, but...

When I start the engine there's a lot of vibration (like from an exhaust blowing, but it's not) - maybe gearbox damaged?

Wheel might be knackered

Track control/anchor damaged (by the drive shaft being pushed back).

Strut is bent back

Wheel tried to join me in the foot well so has damaged the floor pan on the side

Door has been pushed back so I cannot open it (slid under rear door), also bent away from the door frame

The panel the bonnet latch is on is bent

bumper/valance/outerwing bent/damaged

Bonnet creased

Air bag has blown out the steering wheel

Torsion bar snapped.

Cheers
