How far does your tank go?

Just wondering what mileage people are getting out of their 2.5v6 ZT's or 75's tank after filling up with varying styles of driving - The reason I ask is that I drive 50 or so miles a day to and from work, ie 25 miles each way between 30mph through to 70mph or maybe more ;o) , and some hard acceleration, some not so and I am now up to around 377miles with less than an oily rag left in the tank, ie light on and the needle barely registering - Not entirely by choice, more by circumstance, I never usually run her this low, but was just wondering what other ZT160 owners like myself, or 190 owners etc etc get out of their tanks to see if mine is running like a bag of bolts or not!

RED ALERT !!!!!!!

Can of worms now open. Lol. ( Good luck with this question. )

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
I get around 400 to the tank, with a varied style of driving as you have. Came back from Leamington today, a trip of 60 miles and with a jammed up M6, and it's done 30.7MPG which is remarkable considering the speeds the motorway was crawling at some of the time.
My best is 360, I must have a heavy right foot!!!
I get 250 miles for £28 out of my V6!

Sorry just remembered thats LPG, petrol - do not know have not run on it for 6 years now.
Average around 360 but manged to get 420 on the way to Poland in July. Must admit it was getting a bit too close for comfort though!!!

Dave.
I consistenly get 25-26mpg over a tankfull - around 320/330 miles between fill ups with a mix of urban and bypass driving.

My shannon tube is in the bin though, so I need to sort a cold air feed to the airbox to improve things. It's also liekly that my VIS valves aren't VIS'ing as I don't really feel the kicks that I'm meant to.
Not sure on a full tank, but I put 50.00 in every monday and I get a little over 340 miles from £50.00.

Fuel prices are up and down, but at the mo, it's 5.22 per galon here (1.15 per litre of standard unleaded).

50 / 5.22 = 9.58 galons, so 35.49mpg for me.

That's not going over 2k 90% of the time when accelerating and easy acceleration and 60mpg in fith which sits the 190 at about 2.7k- I rarely if ever floor it at any time when going to and from work.

I do aprox 20 mins urban and 30 mins on the dual carriageway.

Some people might find that boring but for me it's calming, saves my car and puts pennies in my pocket :)

P.S my fuel computer says 35.3, I must have a good one lol!
