Many thanks - As with many things its wonderfull if you know its there but if you dont its all a big mystery.

How about making this usefull post a sticky so that people visiting this forum can see it as soon as they join before they have to ask 'silly' questions.

Spread the word forehead... Clay is awesome! Just be really careful to keep the bodywork lubed and start with something simple like quik clay... if your a novice that is. Clay if not correctly used or lubed will give some scratching so make sure you follow with a polish.

Someone should really write a sticky about it all because a significant amount of the forum is clay related.

Make sure you post some pics of your efforts....

I used clay for the first time recently. Fantastic stuff. Used the megs quik clay. As has been mentioned, lots of lube is key to keeping marring to a minimum.

That guide by Andy (Andburg) is spot on. Follow by AG SRP, and top of with a wax/sealant and you will be impressed with the difference it makes! :broon:

By far the best for your first clay experience, Quik Clay comes with some quick detailer spray as well for lube so you should be set.
