when listening under the bonnet,if the accelerator is push in quickly theres a hissing souns for a split second,it seems to be comming from round the injectors,is this normal?

im not sure,to be honest i havnt got a clue what id be looking for,how would i check it?

i have been suffering a loss of power recently so could it be linked?

it seems to be comming from behind the part of the engine that says injection on it.ive got a hayes manual for my model and year of car but my engine isnt in there so im not sure what to look for

I think this is normal. I've heard mine do it and also my mates car do it. Both K series. It's probably just the noise from the breather pipes.

Juat make sure all the hoses and vacuum pipes are secure. As long as it's only momentary then I don't think you need worry.
