I sold my old HID kit to a chap with angel eye headlights, works exactly the same. :broon:
Have done it myself. works fine
Got any pics mate? :)
Looks the same as if they were in standard lights mate !!!
hey guys, what is the difference between a HID kit and xenon HID bulbs? this has always confused me as it seems the bulbs are direct replacements?
HID Kit - Xenon Bulbs and Ballasts (Required), everything you need to convert !!!

HID Bulbs - Xenon Bulbs sold seperatly to be used a spares, usless without Ballasts !!!

Xenon Bulbs - Conventional bulbs with blue tinted glass, some claim to have Xenon Gas but they don't, depending on the brand, (Ring, Osram Etc) they give off a crisper whiter light for better light pickup by elliminating most of the yellow tint, just avoid the cheaper brands !!!

cool, cheers, what ones would you suggest then? (the xenon bulbs) i would prefer ones with a hint of blue in them.
Thats the thing, the bulbs with the blue glass have a blue tint in the day when there not on but don't light up blue, your best going for a HID kit, there only about £40 now on ebay, there not hard to wire up but if your not sure theres bound to be another Member on here close to where you live that can pop round to give you a hand, or go to one of the many Meets set up, there all listed in the 'Area Forum' !!!

cool tings.
i have a few other things higher up my list to do but will definately look more into this in the future.
I would like to revive this thread (Because I'm awesome like that... Ahem.)

I have some Auto-Art Angels and have been frantically searching for some info on them and how they should work... My rings just don't light up. Are HID kits actually legal these days? Guessing it's alot different from back when this thread was actually started, but I'd be interested in doing it if it..

A). Doesn't damage the headlights
B). Actually gives brighter halos and H7 and H4s.

Of course it would be lovely to actually have the halo illuminated first... :(
What hid bulbs people putting in them?
H7
H7R
H7Rc?
