Hi from Suffolk

Hi, I'm Phil.

I drive a Rover 200 BRM LE, I've had the car since 2007 and use it everyday. My dad rallies a MG ZR 105 in the National Tarmac Rally Championship, he has used the car since the Mewla National Rally in 2005 and won class A5 every year since 2000.

Feel free to ask me a few questions and I'll reply when I'm not on my PS3.

Here is a picture of my car and my dads rally ZR at a Gala day back in 2008




I had 100+ rims on my car then, as my BRM alloys are in need of refurbisment.

EDIT: Argh the link keeps breaking!

Apart from the ding in the wing and the door has a couple of rust spots, may be on the look out for another door from a wreaked BRM and wing as it's easier then respraying them.

The dirt hides the rust well ;)

I know they are there, as I see my car every day :D and use it. Won't be long before it needs a new engine, last had one done before I brought the car and I have done a fair few miles in it.

I have noticed the previous owner got rid if the silver wing mirrors :(

Yes I noticed that he got rid of the mirrors, I guess you know about the Head Gaskets on the K-series then? Have a look at my car on my garage thing.

Yep, I know about K-Series head gaskets. The rally car has a drilled thermostat and uprated head gasket in that.

Mine don't yet, but it will do. If I was good with a spray can I'll paint the mirrors Silver, but my spray jobs usually suck.

I can't spray either, I can fix cars but not spray. I put MLS on my car as Head Gasket had gone when I bought it. Have a look at my Garage and look at my car, done allot of work to it.

So I saw, a lot of work does have to go into our Rovers, currently having to fix my dads MG (again) after he was hit by a 306 on the Mewla Rally at the end of August. He also went off on the Jim Clark Rally back in May, and messed the front end up then. And before that in 2007 he hit a sheep on the Mewla again.

Here is a YouTube vid from the Mewla of my dad getting hit, I didn't film it as I was at home gaming.

Tell me about it, my dad was fuming afterwards, front ends are not cheap and it's getting harder to get a mark 1 ZR bumper, grill and splitter.

Yep they are hard, it took me months to find one for my car and it is a darker colour, only cost £25 with grill and fog lights so can't complain.
