Thanks mate them lights look nice but i dont think they look good on a dark car on a red or blue they wud look brill . I thinking of painting the grill bright red and then all the door side trims red and the mud flaps and the wheels a dard red or the same bright red all the high cost mods will have to wait for a few months . Also i did a silly thing i used my car for work im a builder and got thd seats and carpit realy dirty i used some cleaners cheap pound shop crap never realy done it apart from put a shine on the seats whats the best stuff to use
At the mo im waiting for the head and cam to be done then i will clean the car and take some pics for u all

Haha sorry was running around didnt see the reply, you talking about cleaning the carpet,I would use any decent carpet cleaner, one of those that brings the dirt to the surface and lets you get it with the hoover when its dry,try a medium nail brush to scrubb it with, the leather I use gliptones cleaner and conditioner, plastics dash door cards etc i use a light mix of carpet cleaner in a spray bottle as i have an endless supply at work and it does a great job, then i use car plan cockpit cleaner to finish,I like the shine others dont always

Done lots more since that photo

I love your red leather mate looks realy smart. thats cool will get some over the weekend also driver seat is realy worn some parts the leather has rubd away iv seen stuff thats paint the leather back on has any one used amy think like this and what was the out come meny thanks
umm english??

The red leather is standard trim from one of the Rover models, I wouldnt have though any "paint on" stuff would be durable enough to last any amount of time without lookking really tacky, best bet get round some scrap yards or on e-bay and look for either rover interiors or rovers being broken or zr interiors if you like!

I used gliptones scuffmaster youll find it on there web site,i had a area on the passenger seat where the red had come away and the brown of the leather underneath was showing,it worked a treat and a year later its still fine.

ps I bought the scuffmaster from their site but found the cleaner and conditioner cheaper on e bay
Nice one mate will check it out .the guy just started takein my head off as long as he can get it skimd tomoz it will be back on the road the weekend lol

Fit ZR Sideskirts, Front splitter (goes straight onto the 200 bumper), and colour code the side strips, bumper inserts, grill etc.

Here's my old Rover 200, with the above (and some ZR alloys), doesn't look OTT, but still looks modified :).

I do like that but where mine is near black and all the trim is black im thinking of do the trim red what do you lot think good or bad
Bad.

Leave it as standard, or paint it the same colour as your car. Only way to go really.
Thanks mate i will stay away from the spray
Can then lol iv been looking on ebay for
Side skirts and front and back splitter iv seen
Lagauna splitters on here some where are they easy to fit to rovers thanks
Laguna splitters you can literally self-tapper and tigerseal on :)

The rear splitter you're on about, from a ZR. Although it can be modified to fit a Rover 200 rear bumper. It would be worth buying a ZR bumper with the splitter, or a Rover 25 bumper and fitting a ZR splitter to it :) (this is what I had on mine).
I all ways thoght the back bumbers was the same just thoght the zr one was just kitted up a bit more thanks for your info i will start looking for a rear bumber now is there any other side skirts
That will fit the 216 im thinking of painting the wheels gloss whight think they will look good with the black body work .also is there any other head lights i can use eg the zr ones with out doing any work to the body work.i know its not wise doing mods on a car with very low cash but i just want to make small low
Cost mods then build up from there
For the 200, you can get angel eyes for them but they're pretty pricey. 25/ZR headlights won't fit.

You can however open up the headlights, and paint the chrome (the parts which aren't for beam reflection), black or another colour, which can look quite good.
