Hello chaps,

Just picked up my 180 yesterday, after doing about 200 miles yesterday i have a few concerns (Mainly VIS or 02 sensor related i think as the top of the engine is doing a good job of tick tick ticking).

What im after is either:

Recommendation of a very good MG specialist in or around Preston/Chorley/Bolton/Clitheroe/Blackburn area who has the diagnostic equipment/experience to inspect the car for me.

or

Someone with a 180 who is confident enough to diagnose the fault/faults (or lack of) or at least have a gander at the car and see what you think (obviously reimbursement through beer will be given). It may be the car is fine and just compareing it with someone elses will do the job.

Hope someone can help as im worried after only 1 day of ownership!

Rob

(As a quick add on i also have a house in Cumbria so could travel up there if there is a decent garage or someone willing to help!)

Let me know how you get on think my gearbox needs looking at! I'm getting a quote from Black Diamond Power Products xpart centre near work. If your experience with Signature is good I'll get one from them too!

Well..... the worst news possible

New Inlet Manifold needed - £750

Thank the lord the car is under warranty, sorting it all out now.

I just want to praise Signature again, they charged me £21 for the inspection and gave me a full printed quote of the work that needs doing including labour and VAT (didnt even ask them for it) - they also phoned me when the car was ready and had it waiting outside for me.

Top service, ill let you know what happens with the manifold / warranty situation.

Just got the car back from Signature, they replaced the Full inlet manifold today (£711 - all charged to the warranty company wohooo) and it feels like a different car! Amazing stuff, cant recommend them enough, very efficient and they sorted everthing out with the warranty company.
