Hi BIG G,

If I had been closer I would have given you a loan of a wheel.

Must admit not a fan of space savers first thing I bought both my ZT's was a full

size spare.

I think the space saver is only rated for the rear as well.

Might be worth investing in one as you will always get your money back.

When the time comes to change car replace the space saver and sell the

single on.

Sorry Gareth, if I had a full sized spare I'd loan it to you but like yourself I only have a space saver.

Is your wheel badly damaged? You don't seem to have much luck do you...

hi kris my wheel is flat spotted on the inside the only reason im getting it fixed is that the air leaks at the flat spot and its doing my head in pumping it up every other day, might have to take it off the road for a couple of days til i get it done thanks anyway pal

Yeah that would be quite annoying. I had a crack in one of my wheels causing it to go flat every couple of days so I got all the wheels refurbished at Nu Look Wheels, they were in need of it.

I'm sure you can put the space saver on for a while, I've had to ride around a couple of days with mine on and it ain't that noticeable if its on the back.
Hi G,

As Wullie said, the space saver is only for the rear.

If you get a flat on the front, you have to take the rear wheel off to go to the front and fit that stupid b****y space saver to the rear!

Only MGR could come up with that i suppose. Something to do with the front hub being bigger than the rear if my memory serves right.

Been looking for a full size one for mine for ages. Missed out on a couple on ebay due to the silly money they were going for and the condition they were in.

If anybody has a 'hairpin' knocking around that they don't want, please pm me.

Regards,

Dave.
