So... whilst waiting for the primer to dry on my interior trim detail I thought I'd have a look at why my passenger side electric window squeaks like hell when you close it. Having taken off the trim and greased the runners (together with everything else in site!) it still squeaks! Only when closing, not opening, that's fine. Any ideas? Sounds like it's coming from the motor but I can't think what would be squeaking.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated as it's doing my head in!

Ta!

P.S. Any mods apart from painting, deoranging or meshing that can be done on a very VERY small budget? Let me know!

sounds like your window doesn't go up straight so it's rubbing hard.
check if the mechanisms's bolts are tight.
if no luck with that try this: one of the bolts is used to adjust the angle of the glass, it's the the one in the midde with a long shaped hole. untight it and move it slightly to a different position then tighten it and try moving the window again. good luck.
