I have the original windstop that came with the car and it looks like it has lost a thread. Can I do something to make it stop there and not get worse?

Also, Is it possible to replace the mess of the windstop???

The advantage of silicone sealant is that you can get it in black to match the material, plus if you **** it up you can pick it off and start again.

To use superglue, you would need to be confident that the glue wouldn't react with the material. I'm not sure what the mesh is made of, but as an example, Cyanoacrylate (superglue) reacts with cotton, exothermically( it produces heat) and, in an extreme case, can cause the cotton to ignite!

Not a lot of people know that.
