A family friend mechanic has just got me a 2001 rover 25. I'm mainly a lurker but just wanted to join to thank the members for all the amazing information I've already gained!

My Rover 25 is a 2001 plate, 1.4 IL. Thanks to this forum I've already unrestricted it with a new throttle body and cable.

Just replaced all the original seats with leather ones from a 2006 zr and just this evening had a armrest from a rover coupe delivered which will be fit shortly. All thanks to the amazing guides shared by you members!

The 25 I got only had 13,500 miles on it since new. 1 previous owner who only sold it due to losing his sight. He regularly did less than 800 miles a year but full service history so I'm very happy!

Added some pictures as requested. I'm just searching for a black leather lid for the handbrake console now! Just had a full service done. All belts filters etc. It had the original fuel filter on it so well needed!

Thank you! Yeah it's a fun little thing to run around in and find them a good looking car! I've got a rover specialist just 20 minutes from me so it's in good hands!
