my heaters dont work at settings 1 & 2, ive looked at previous posts on this subject and know you got to take the glove box off to get to a set of spring like things, i got in to dash but dont know where the said item is to be found. help pls ??? cars a 96 416

Once the glove box is off, you will see a black box with a lid on the top and wire going to a connector.

This is the housing and it is held in by two phillips screws.
