Heated front seats - shouldn't they get warm???

The light on the switch comes on, but the seats don't seem to get warm/hot. Do the switches and the seats have separate fuses? Maybe disconnected under the seats? (The electric seat adjustment works ok)

Any other ideas?

mine get quite warm!.. but only after fixing continuity issues.. the heater is a sheet of material with a wire fed through it, under the seat(fed near the sring wire) there are two very small multiplugs, one for the back, and one for the base,, you need to check continuity with a multimeter.. you deffinately should feel a warmth if they are working correcty..

I have had heated seats in other cars and the ones on my 2001 Tourer, seem to get just as warm. The heat is very slow to build up, but once it gets going - it warms the old bum up very nicely. Certainly by the time the cabin is warming through nicely, I have to turn mine off as I'm getting a bit too warm.
