Hi All,

Just to let you all know that the plans are coming along nicely for this years Heart of England Run. It's moving a little further north this year into the Peak District National Park. More info including prices can be found at http://www.fpower.co.uk

Look forward to seeing lots of you there.

Cheers

I hope work isn't getting in the way Straffs?
Certainly not ... We're just sitting round chatting in the office - my phone hasn't rung today and the systems are behaving themselves. Just another 50 minutes to go - it's still dry outside so looking forward to a drive out somewhere.

Hi I was just looking at the link when I saw there is another event happening in Kent later on in the year.

My question is do I have to join any club to go along or is it just a turn up and drive event?

Hi T13,

Firstly, I think the event you are referring to is the Martello Towers Tour. If so I am sorry to say that this was last year. Having said that if you check out Tim's SEF'ers website there are loads of events in your area (in fact there is one this Monday).

Secondly, anyone can turn up to these events and enjoy them. They sometimes cost a little more if you are not a member of the MGCC but that's about all.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

Start point is now booked and confirmed for the Run. We will be starting at the Maynard Arms (http://www.maynardarms.co.uk) in Grindleford. Fortunately for us (but not for some poor soul) the Wedding party that was booked for that weekend has cancelled. This means that all the rooms are now available. We have also managed to wangle a discount from them so the rate for a standard double en-suite room is GBP 75.

Full details of the run and an entry form are available at http://www.fpower.co.uk

Look forward to seeing lots of you there.
