head gasket

hi; i got a mate to change my head gasket on my mg zr but its still blowing cold air has any 1 got a idea what is making this happen i changed the head as i had water coming out the exhaust a bit of smoke was kicking out two and i had no heating as well

As above - please post in the car section rather than introductions.

From your description, it does not sound like you had gasket failure, but if your heater is not working, it is probably air locked. Don't drive it like that or you will kill it!

Mate it sounds like you have an air lock in your coolant system. If you search air lock on the site i'm sure you'll find how to remove it. And from your symptoms it doesn't point to head gasket failure but you needed to change the inlet manifold gasket.
