Well, pretty much pic related the button is stuck in most of the way. You can still press the button in a little so it still works normally. Just makes pressing it a bit annoying.
How do you fix the button so it is not pressed in all the time?

I looks from the photo that the grip has moved forwards as there shouldn’t be a gap between the gaiter and the grip. Also the end of the handbrake shouldn’t be sitting that high.

Is it possible it's not the button that's sunk but the grip that's moved forward?
You are both correct! A simple tug and the grip slid off. I re-seated it and my button is now much more useable thanks heaps!
