For a little while now, I have notice my Rover when starting from cold, is very "shaky". The whole car vibrates and the engine sounds very lumpy. However with a bit of a rev it soon clears and she's normal.

I thought it could be the fuel (Tesco - Unleaded) as I had just under 1/4 tank and then my parents filled her up for me when they were over visiting with Tesco Fuel, but on talking my to my partners dad, he thinks it could be leads/plugs as it clears once she's warmed up. I don't do a lot of miles, but then I can't recall when I changed them last... I know it was last year sometimes.

Would these be what is causing the issue above? I am thinking away from the Fuel as it was doing it before we topped her up. Just thought I would mention it, since my partner found her car didn't run as well when she used to use the Tesco fuel.

I don't know what it's like round you but the mornings are getting a bit parky which wont help.

Mornings? what's that?

But seriously, its not just the morning's she does it. Was at my parents house today, and it was doing it then, twice when I had to move the car and then when I come to go home.

It may be leaking inlet manifold gasket.
Ooer... not a big job I hope if it is that :/
The Inlet Manifold Gasket is a pretty simple job and even if you've never done anything mechanical before you could change it on a Saturday morning with a few spanners and £20

Garage will do it for you, probably for around £70

Few spanners and £20? You kidding?

The part is only £4, is that £16 on breakfast :p
IMG is a possibility, you will find you are constantly topping up the coolant if it's leaking.
Yup first thing I thought is inlet manifold gasket leaking coolant into one of the cylinder.

Could be plugs/leads/dizzy cap/rotor arm though.
Well she isn't leaking *touch wood* haven't had a leak since having my water pump replaced.

Sometimes she is hesitant to start as well, this is what got me thinking more ignition problem. Come pay day I shall try the leads and plugs (not that long ago had a rotary arm and dizzy cap) and see how I get on.
