Hi,

I had Xenon HID Kit on my previous car which gave me better vision at night and was wondering if there was something similar that would fit MG GS?
If there is no Xenon HID Kit what do you recommend?

TIA

if the car is registered after 2015 it is illegal to fit an aftermarket hid kit and definately fail an mot . you have to do the job correctly and fit the whole hid headlight unit as fitted to the hid models.
if you get pulled over by the plod and they check the light units you will have the honor of a nice big fine and the possibility of the car been towed or not allowed to drive it away until the correct bulbs are installed for the current headlight unit if stopped at night time .

I have had aftermarket HID kits on most of my cars and to this day I have
never been pulled or fined, passes the MOT every time as I ensure the beam
pattern is good and the correct style of bulbs are fitted, they work well in
projector headlights its standard headlights that scatter the light, so long
as you get the Bulbs marked with an R or with the metal shield fitted above
they will work fine, the kits are cheap enough so buy one and see what the
beam is like or check with your local MOT station.
