Going to give TOAF a go

Decided to bite the bullet and give TOAF a shot.

My laptop is a 3 year old Acer running Windows 10, I have ordered the Vagcom kkl cable from the bay at £3.15 with free postage.

Hope that's all, apart from downloading TOAF and shorting pins 7 and 8.

Quick question, how much support can TOAF give to the LSM, as I have an err msg on mine. I replaced my faulty unit with a £10 eBay special. The err msg is where the trip mileage should be.

Err is shown because vin number between ipk/ike and lsm is different .

Vin in ipk/ike is secured (to chsnge this number you need the virgin eeprom)

LSM vin number is changable, you can copy vin number from ipk/ike into lsm, Then err disapear. But vin will be wrong in these modules. Nothing bad will happen, this mistake will be only in your mind. Your choice
