If you feel the need to do so then go ahead as its your car at the end of the day. A good graphics shop would be your best bet as that way its a professional finish.

I thought my post was rather helpful. What were you expecting me to reply with, the exact co-ordinates of your local graphics shop you cheeky ****e?!?! Everyone knows that if you want stripes and graphics then head to a graphics shop! This sounds more like a search you should be doing on Yell.com rather than wasting peoples time asking dosey questions! Good luck with your search! Oh by the way...stripes look tacky!!

Seriously though, if I saw a Rover with stripes my first thought would not be a pleasant one. Each to their own though. I'm sure you will find some good graphics stuff on ebay if that helps.

I really don't like the go faster stripes, theres a few 200's where i live that have had it done, but if you like it and want them go do it, i wouldn't listen to other peoples tastes as there going to be different to yours.

theres a red 200 near me with go fast stripes, doesn't look great, but if your in to that thing then go for it mate if you don't like em they can always come off.

 

yeah been red a while, i stuck up for some guy getting some mouth because he beat a peugeot 106 quiksilver......so i got bad rep points.....stunned!

yeah everyone has there own opinion. i personally think it would look quite smart, dont get me wrong i do have taste if it looks tatty it will be gone.

Agreed! Kind of like lexus lights, the height of fashion for about 5 minutes in 1999.

Seen a few nice cars with stripes, even a Focus ST couldn't pull it off well.

Although stripes on a Ferrari 360 CS is acceptable since they are offered as a £5k optional extra...

some cars can pull stripes off like the clio 182

But i just cant imagine stripes on a rover 200 looking as good, I think just cos of the overall rounded shape of the car, having 2 straight lines going across it might just look completely wrong. Plus going by the reaction on here they seem to be generally frowned upon , but go for it if you like the idea, who knows could end up looking good

Please don't get them! There is a chav who works in my local store with a red ford fiesta with the stripes down it.....it gets laughed at every time someone goes past it. Honestly it looks horiffic.

I always have and always will hate them! It's just going OTT and takes it a step over the line, it can make a good looking car look rubbish!

But, if you still want to get them then don't let any of us stop you - after all the world would be a very boring place if none of us were trying to be different.

 

Even that Clio looks god damn awful.

No rover and especially the bubble range suits viper stripes, as said you WILL get laughed at.

But it's your choice and your pride so each to their own.
