Well after a few days of owning my TF I must say I'm begining to get used to it's handling characteristics. Bit scary at first but if you have confidence in the car she'll do as she's told. I was amazed at the G forces I was experiencing on corners, the car suffers no under stear at all and will even turn in tighter when I wanted, amazing :D
Had her up to 110 mph with the roof down and she still wanted more. Later my lovely.
Still a bit skittish on the straights at speed. Tried removing the EPAS fuse which made it a bit better but she's still skittish.
I love this car, such a buzz :D

PS 110 mph on a private road....honest ;)

That's the problem I'm having now Kate. Grin from ear to ear. Just looking for excuses to go out much to the wifes disgust :D
Had to see a Toyota Celica off yesterday, lost his bottle on the corners and roundabouts. Then a souped up BMW 3 series tried his luck. Boy racer job, loads of noise but no go. He was a little upset I think at the fact he lost to a little car.
I wonder how long my tyres will last???

Mark

You seem to have progressed from being appalled by the steering of the car to being a street racer in a very short space of time.

I would suggest a few more miles on all types of roads in all weathers before taking on the Chavs.

Ah playing with 3 series!!!! That has to be the most fun! They think they are unbeatable but the only one we can't spank is the M3 and that doesn't count. You got to love the look on the drivers faces! hee hee hee

We're here Ringside with Kris:

"Kris. We see Kate & scuzza are really going for it now, we've seen some low blows from scuzza, Kate's come back with a tough volley, what can we expect from here on?"

"Well Steve, it's getting pretty bad, I think we can expect the mods to step in and lay out some big heavy handed editing"

"Will they confiscate the dead sheep though?"

"Tough call Steve, looks like they're entering the ring now, lets see what happens:"

The problem with forums is you can never see the other persons facial expression/body language.

This causes many people to take a post in many different ways.

Emoticons help got your point across to a degree, but it's still not the same as doing this face to face.

I know of many people who have fallen out over seemingly silly things on a forum/chat system due to taking it the wrong way.

I get around this by making all of my posts inane and margionaly insane ;)
