German car club ADAC have just published their league table of which models of car break down the least.

Unusually (for Britain), there are no Scoobies mentioned.

These cars broke down the least (with number of different models mentioned):

Superminis (25): best Audi A2, worst Kia Picanto
Small family size (16): best B*W 1-series, worst Fiat Stilo
Family size (13): best Audi A4, worst Renault Laguna
Luxury cars (5): best Audi A6, worst Volvo 60/70/80
Sportscars/convertibles(4): best Mercedes CLK, worst Peugeot 206 CC
SUVs (6): best B*W X3, worst Nissan X-Trail
People carriers - small (13): best Mazda Premacy, worst Ford C-Max
- large (5): best VW Sharan, worst Ford Galaxy (and I thought they were the same car...!)

Strange, I would have expected the A3 to best the 1er and 3er the A4.
