Looking for some advice.Car is X-reg with 44k on clock.

What oil grade is required for this model? general oil or semi-synthetic?

What spark plugs are recommended and what size of socket i needed?

Lastly, aerial has broken.Does it have to be Rover specific or will a mast aerail from another manufacturer fit.The small "bee-stings" are nice, but reception usually quite poor.

Thanks

Hi,

Any good quality semi or fully synth oil is ok. Make sure its 10w/40! No need to go and spend £40odd quid on Mobil 1 however. Castrol magnatec is ok.

The spark plugs, its down to personal preference really. Some say Bosch are good, some say NGK are good. No need for platinum tipped in these engines either. Personally id go for the Bosch yttrium ones or the Champion EON. I like them.

The plugs are quite small in these, i think you need a 14mm plug socket. Be sure to copper grease the threads of the new plugs when putting them in.
