Hi All,

This is my first post here so please be gentle. I have got a 2006 Freelander 1 TD4. I would like to get hold of a fuel burning heater (FBH) to put in my freelander, I just don't know which one.

I have seen a few FBH's going on eBay latley but most of them are from the Rover 75/ZT cars and I don't know if these FBH's will fit in my Freelander or if they have a different mounting bracket or whether they will fit straight in.

I would be grateful for any of you kind people on here to point me in the right direction.

Many thanks

The FBH is mounted on it's side in the front nearside wheel arch.

Different mounting bracket, exhaust silencer and inlet silencer too.

The 75 FBH will work in the Freelander no problem, and is near identical. There may be some subtle differences in the PCB board, but not a big deal.

JEC500320 is for the FBH conversion kit.

The parking heater option is additional to this kit. IRK500010 and exhaust muffler kit JEY500010.

Thats great, thanks for the reply. Would it be a main dealer to purchase these items new or is there somewhere cheaper. Thanks
Your eco friendly scrappy is always a good start, but TD4 Freelanders maybe do not have them as common as 75's.

To purchase these parts from the dealer would not be cheap, but if you pockets are deep enough then no problem.

heres a start

If you are serious about converting, I have excess spares hoses, fuel pipe etc and instructions, everything apart from the FBH and mount bracket, solenoid pump, or ext temp sensor

Thanks for the reply. Thats good to know. I think I need to get the heater first and see what comes with it but it's good to know parts are available. Thanks
