can i just mount the tweeter where the original tweeter would normally go??

What about the radio. I surrely hope that you have something better than original radio. I recommend Alpine, Clarion.... As for the tweters the should be no problems.

oh yes!! got a whole system!! front comps are the last bit going in just as soon as i get the tweeter mounts finished
