Hi,

I have a knackered clutch slave cylinder so the Cricket is off to the garage to have it replaced.

Been putting up with a bent flange for a while now on the front drivers side so I've got hold of a decent looking flange from a rear F hub from a scrappy. Was going to change it with the help of a friend but now the garage can do that too!

I did ask for a front hub assembly but before I send it back I thought I'd check to see if the flange is usable on the front hub. I think it is but could do with some input before I give it to my mechanic or return it.

Found these diagrams Front and Rear

I'm assuming on the front the Axel stub hub (item 9) takes the place of the drive shaft? So the flanges and bearings should be the same front and rear?

I'm going to get the bearing changed at the same time too.

Cheers

John

Since the F is a pair of Metro front subframes, one at each end (hence backwards Metro) then they are the same yes.
