Have my beady little eye on a V6 with 60k miles, however there's a a knocking noise coming from the engine which apparently goes when warm? I've not heard it so can't say what it sounds like.

Suspect belts and or tensioners but? Difficult to diagnose from the vague description I know, but any thought from the experts?

How long's a piece of string? Could be many things, anything from VIS actuators to piston slap and many things inbetween. A much better use of money rather than buying a Freeloader V6 is to light a bonfire and burn the cash, either is a money pit.

Sounds like a timing belt tensioner pully is worn, i had a knocking noise coming from my ZT 190s engine (same engine) which i could only hear then cold.
