I got a freelander 1 TD4 off a chap who, after ten years of good motoring, changed the then worn out clutch which he told me is a job even with a ramp, but when he was all done and bleeding the new clutch system, there was no clutch and the fluid was pouring out of the bell housing. He could not face a second attempt. Then I took it on - fitted the same thing, clutch kit new slave, the old slave had a split in the seal. I put it all back, bled clutch and same thing happened again. I'm cheesed off. Not opened it to see if same split seal yet, has anyone had this before?
