Five Button Switch Panel

I've got a Connie SE so have 4 buttons on the current panel; front seat heaters, rear sunblind and cruise. Got the wiring for traction control but can't see the point of it on the diesel, and it's too much hassle to fit.

Also have a spare old cruise switch so could use that or the front of it for switching something else. The question is what?:dunno:

Anyone got any ideas for an extra that another switch could control?

A James Bond style ejector seat would be well over the top (as would whoever was sitting in it) although occasionally useful. :naughty:

i fitted a usb charging socket there,its a lovely fit in the center. so you wont even have to buy a 5 hole one, just make a hole yourself in the middle. and wire it to the switched live.... for charging mobile or navs etc......

Probably not important to you....but people have fitted a digital engine temperature gauge in the hole ........

Good call if I had a K - although ideally I'd then want it projected onto the screen in constant line of sight. :naughty:

That's an interesting picture TC. Mine has the four holes with two each equally spaced either side of the spare unused middle switch holder.

The five switches are:
Heated seat
Rear Blind
Cruise control
Traction Control
Heated seat
But seem to vary according to the package.

Thanks Terry. Think I'm going to go with Keith's suggestion and fit it behind the oval hole. Unless anyone can come up with a better offer.......
