Exhaust vibration - padding?
I'm in a bit of a pickle, it would appear the lower engine mount in my CityRover has given up the ghost and is causing the exhaust to rub against the front suspension tie bar - making a loud knocking noise.
Since the mount is unavailable at the moment, i was hopeing for a quick fix with something to pad between the exhaust and the front tie bar.
Can anyone suggest something which can withstand the heat?
