hi,
im new here but im having problems with my exhaust downpipe. it split in half so i orded a new 1 and cant get the old one off. the nuts on the maanifold seem to be a random size smaller than 10 mm i think they may have been rounded off :S and also the bolts holding it to the mid pipe wont move. i dont no how to get it off.

just to let u no i fixed it. do u know how hard it was to find replacment studs!!! i had to rethread them in the end 1mm smaller..... and dont use nylocks.....they melt and fills car up with toxic fumes lol

The nuts on the manifold bolts are 1/2", not 10mm.

Typical Rover, half metric, half imperial.
