Error code P0335

I am still having problems with my car (2001 Rover 75 2.5 Litre ) After hitting a spped bump it just died. I have checked the fuel pump and it has the early style that doesnt come apart. I finally got a code reader and it saying that it has the error code of P0335 which seams to the Crankcase position sensor A circuit.
I have replaced the sensor itself and checked and cleaned the connections, 1 where the cable attaches to the sensor itself and the second one near rocker cover.
Any other ideas as to where to look or what else it might be

some code readers dont give correct rover codes...best thing to do is the get the car on the T4 testbook which xpart dealers have....its the system that rover used to diagnose problems..

how hard did you hit the speedbump? inertia fuel cut-out might have been triggered?

I hit a speed bump in my old mk5 astra....broke an engine mount and engine dropped on one-side...needed a new cambelt afterwards!
