I've been wanting to swap out the current engine in my 25 seeing how pretty knackered it is, as well as wanting something with a bit more kick

I heard some people use the 2 litre turbo engine from the Rover 220. Would that be a hard swap?

Also as im looking into pushing more power i would need to slow down effectively
So i don't believe the current drums would suffice
How can i swap them to disks?

You can plant in a rover 1.8 k series turbo engine from a rover 75
Looked into that just now
Seems like a good idea
Looks like there a bit pricey
Would it be possible to put the turbo parts on a 1.8 from the mg zr? I have the bare engine (minimum needed to run minus the head) and the 1.6 head on it right now doesn't look too bad

Hi mate yes you could but you would need the lower compression rods and a turbo oil feed which can both be purchased online and the turbo with manifold and a fuel pressure regulator and if you want big power some bigger injectors probably from a T16 or a caterham R500
